         RAM - Random Access Memory

HI friends all we know that what is RAM. Its full name is Random Access Memory.RAM is volatile type memory. when we buy a mobile then we must have cheak RAM. Because when we operate a mobile then all apps of mobile are running through Ram. then we know that what importance is RAM in our smartphones and laptops.

RAM is a main parts of our smartphones and laptops. Ram speed is very fast then rom.  there are several types of ram but mainly two types of ram. once name is DRAM(Dynamic Random Access Memory) and second once is SRAM (Static Random AccessMemory).

There are mainly  two types of RAM.

1.   DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory)

2.   SRAM (Static Random Access Memory)

1.   DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) – The term dynamic indicates that the memory must be constantly refreshed or it will lose its contents.  DRAM is used for the main memory in computing devices. If a PC or smartphone is advertised as having 4-GB RAM or 16-GB RAM, those numbers refer to the DRAM, or main memory, in the device.

2.   SRAM (Static Random Access Memory) – While DRAM is typically used for main memory, today SRAM is more often used for system cache. SRAM is said to be static because it doesn't need to be refreshed, unlike dynamic RAM, which needs to be refreshed thousands of times per second. As a result, SRAM is faster than DRAM. However, both types of RAM are volatile, meaning that they lose their contents when the power is turned off. 
       
   In this date all apps are big in size. Then any types of smartphones and laptops are more then 2GB of RAM are must be given because in this time all types of app size are bigger then past time apps.
